Julia Williams has worked as a licensed professional counselor for 18 years. She started her counseling work at Catholic Social Services where she focused on children & adolescents and helping families manage personal and family crises. Following her work there, Julia joined The Carpenter’s House, P.C. where her focus has been helping children, adolescents and adults reduce the emotional chaos encountered in their daily lives. She counsels clients who have experienced emotional trauma, as well as attachment and divorce adjustment for children and adults. Her expertise also includes grief work, anxiety and depression reduction.
Julia has extensive experience in group work, leading Divorce Care for Kids to help children adjust to the changes experienced by children whose parents divorce. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Julia is committed to practicing what she teaches in sessions: One's life needs a balance of work/structure and fun. |
